“Ask the Stars” Releases Special OST Album to Soothe Finale Farewell

 Drama “Ask the Stars” (tvN) OST Special Album Launches Today at 6 PM

The tvN weekend drama Ask the Stars (written by Seo Suk-hyang, directed by Park Shin-woo, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by KeyEast, MYM Entertainment) will release its OST Special Album today (23rd) at 6 PM KST through various online music sites.

The Ask the Stars OST Special Album includes nine previously unveiled tracks aligned with the drama’s storyline, along with Maytree’s unique opening title track that set a playful tone, plus 56 BGM pieces that heightened each scene’s atmosphere—bringing tears and laughter to the audience.

Earlier, the Ask the Stars OST garnered headlines for its star-studded lineup: BTS’s Jin, SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan, AKMU’s Lee Suhyun, Lee Seungyoon, BIG Naughty (Seo Dong-hyun), Xion, GEMINI, and Kim Kyung Hee—artists receiving global recognition.

In particular, Jin’s track “Close to You” made waves by entering high positions on both the US Billboard charts and the UK Official Charts, dominating various global rankings with immense popularity.

Spearheaded by music director Nam Hye-seung, known for her work on hit dramas such as Crash Landing on You, Tears of a Queen, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (Goblin), and Our Beloved Summer, the Ask the Stars OST captured listeners’ hearts with her signature blend of refined style and artistry, amplifying the drama’s emotional resonance.

Ask the Stars follows the life of “boss” Eve (played by Gong Hyo-jin), who works at a zero-gravity space station, and a mysterious intruder named “Dinosaur” (Lee Min-ho), depicting their off-earth adventures together. The show secured a spot in Netflix’s global (non-English) Top 10, proving its remarkable popularity.
